Utility & Under Stair Storage
Making the most of awkward spaces, from boot rooms to laundry areas.
Fitted Utility Spaces
We make bespoke storage for the parts of the home that are often hardest to get right — under the stairs, in boot rooms, and across utility or bathroom spaces. Everything is built to fit your layout properly and to work day to day.

Under-stair spaces are rarely straightforward, which is why off-the-shelf solutions don’t usually work. We build everything to make the most of the space - from simple cupboards to pull-out storage, drawers and hanging - focusing on practicality and a finish that matches the character of the space.
-
Boot rooms tend to take the brunt of day-to-day use, so they need to be properly thought through. We design and build everything to suit how you actually use the space — from coat and shoe storage to seating, shelving, and hidden compartments for the bits that would otherwise pile up. The focus is on making it easy to keep things organised, with durable finishes and a layout that works.

Utility and bathroom spaces are often tight and awkward, which is where made-to-measure joinery really makes a difference. We build storage around your layout — whether that’s housing appliances, creating clean-lined cupboards, or adding shelving where it’s actually useful. Everything is designed to be practical, hard-wearing, and in keeping with the rest of your home

We offer a range of materials for wardrobe internals, depending on the look, budget and level of finish you’re looking for.
MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard)
The most common and cost-effective option, widely used across the industry. Available in a range of colours, as well as oak and other wood-effect finishes. Durable and easy to maintain, with a consistent, hard-wearing finish.Painted MDF
Most commonly used for doors, but also suitable for shelving and internals where a colour match to the external finish is wanted. We use moisture-resistant MDF, which is denser and more durable than standard MDF.We prepare and paint this in-house, though it can also be supplied ready for your own decorator if preferred.
Real Wood Veneer
A more premium option, often used in higher-end furniture. It provides the look and feel of real wood, without the expansion and movement associated with solid timber.Birch Ply
A high-quality material with a distinctive layered edge detail. When finished well, it works beautifully for wardrobe internals and offers a premium, low-maintenance optionSolid Wood
We also work with a range of solid timbers and have the machinery to produce solid wood elements across our projects, including doors, drawer fronts and shelving. -
Integrated lighting can make a big difference to both the look and usability of fitted wardrobes. We use slimline neon flex LED lighting, which sits discreetly within the furniture but gives a soft, even light.
It can be set up with motion sensors, remote control, smart speaker control or standard switches, depending on how you want to use it.

The hardware is a big part of how fitted furniture feels day to day, and how well it holds up over time. We use Blum soft-close hinges and drawer runners throughout — widely regarded as one of the best systems available, and backed by a lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee.
For handles and knobs, we can either work with your own choices or supply from a range of our trade suppliers, including Devol, Hendle & Hendle, Buster & Punch and Plank Hardware, with trade pricing passed on where possible.

Choosing the right finish is a key part of bespoke furniture. We offer a range of painted finishes for doors, with colours selected to suit your space.
We can colour match or work with brands such as Little Greene, Farrow & Ball and House of Hackney. Veneers can also be stained to introduce different tones or to match existing woodwork.
We’ll usually have a quick chat beforehand and bring relevant samples with us to view in person.
