About Bower Interiors

We’re a small Bristol-based workshop designing and building bespoke furniture.

Most of our work centres around fitted pieces - wardrobes, alcove units and built-in storage - designed to fit the space properly and work as part of the room.

Our Ethos

Everything we make is built in our Bristol workshop, without relying on standard sizes or off-the-shelf systems. Each piece is designed to suit your space and how you actually use it day to day.

Fitted furniture should feel like part of the room, not something added afterwards. Done well, it improves how a space works and adds long-term value to your home.

We’re open about the materials and processes we use, so you can make informed decisions and feel confident in what you’re getting.

As a small team, you’ll deal with the same person throughout - from the first visit through to installation - keeping things straightforward and consistent.

Our Process

  • After an initial chat - usually over the phone or by email - we’ll run through any questions and make sure we’re a good fit for your project. From there, we’ll arrange a first visit to your home or site.

At this stage, we’ll talk through what you’re after in more detail, take measurements, and go over design ideas, materials and options. It’s a straightforward way to get everything down clearly before moving things forward.

  • Following our visit, we’ll provide outline costs based on what we’ve discussed. This may include alternative configurations, materials, and finishes, offering a range of options and pricing where helpful. We can also provide basic sketches to illustrate the proposed design

  • Once you’re happy to proceed, we’ll create detailed 3D technical drawings with all proposed measurements for your approval. You’ll also receive a comprehensive quotation, along with a proposed lead time and installation start date.

  • We then begin work on your project, with most elements pre-assembled in our workshop to ensure a clean, efficient, and issue-free installation. We’ll arrive on the scheduled date to complete the installation with minimal disruption.

Should any issues arise, we’ll always return to resolve them free of charge. All projects are backed by a 15-year guarantee on all hardware and structural elements.

From Sketch to Final Piece

See the perfect translation of design into reality. From the initial 3D sketch to the final installation, our process guarantees that the beautiful furniture you envisioned is the beautiful furniture you receive.

Take a look at our fitted wardrobes

  • We work across Bristol, Bath, the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, typically within an hour’s drive of our BS15 workshop.

  • Costs vary depending on size, materials and specification (number of draws, shelves etc).

Shaker style Double wardrobes with hand painted doors start at £1500. Whereas a 6 door unit with, draws and lighting can be £5000+

  • Our usual lead time is around 6–10 weeks, depending on our workload. Installation typically takes 1–3 days, depending on the size and complexity of the project. We’ll give you a clear timescale during our initial visit.

  • We work with a range of high-quality materials, including MFC board, moisture-resistant MDF, birch plywood, and real wood veneers. We also use solid woods such as oak, ash, walnut, and pine.

  • We require a 10% deposit to secure your place in our production diary, with the remaining balance payable upon completion.

  • We don’t have a showroom, as it isn’t viable for a small company. This helps keep our pricing competitive. However, we bring a comprehensive range of samples to you, and you’re also welcome to visit our Bristol workshop to view samples and talk through our processes.

  • Yes. We offer a 10-year warranty on all our installations, along with a lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee on all hinges and runners we use.
